It took ages to get the bands name we must of gone through around a 100 names before we came up with FIGHT BACK.
Who would you say are your influences?
My main influences are THE EXPLOITED as i was the drummer for them in the late 80s featuring on the album THE MASSACRE, but I’d say weve got our own distinctive sound.
What is the punk scene like in the UK?
The punk scene in the UK is starting to kick on again with the likes of uk subs, cockney rejects and the anti nowhere league giging regulary.
How do you feel it has changed?
I dont think the scene has changed tha much since the old days, punk is still rebelling against society but I would say punks and skinheads are a lot closer than they used to be.
What is the song writing process?
Steve and myself mainly wrire the lyrics to the songs with Tom and Gaz composing the music.
In 2007, you released a six song EP, tell us about the EP…
In 2007 we released our first ep called FREEDOM which was followed by the release of our album.

WHO CARES which I think is a powerful but melodic album, mixed with a punk and oi sound.
Tell us about the lineup…
Weve now added a new guitarist called Gaz which has added extra power to the band.
Who are some of the bands you have done shows with?
Weve played with the uk subs, cockney rejects gbh and the anti nowhere league, mainly around the uk.
Do you prefer to do shows at large venues or small clubs?
I love playing the small venues as thats where you get the close knit family atmosphere which means alot to me as i remember as a young lad going to shows and trying to get down the front to get close to the bands
Is there a favorite band you like to do shows with?
Hopefully in the near future we can play with my old band THE EXPLOITED.

Hopefully FIGHT BACK will be around for years to come as punk has played a big part of my life and i want to give something back.
